Israel revises 7 October death toll of “1,400 Israelis dead” to 1,200 plus 200 Palestinian fighters – without declaring that most deaths were at hands of Israel

The announcement by Israel [on 11 November] that 200 of the 1,400 they mourned were actually Palestinians misses a key element: most of those who died [on 7 October] were killed by Israel.

The declared Hamas mission was to avenge Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa mosque and capture Israelis to be used in a prisoner exchange for the 5,200 Palestinians, including 33 women and 170 children, currently incarcerated in Israeli jails.

However, reports from inside Israel and video footage from Israeli helicopters indicates that the massive and indiscriminate firepower mustered in panic drew heavily upon the “Hannibal directive”, which permits Israel to execute Israelis to prevent them falling into Palestinian hands. Evidence indicates that at least 50 per cent of the Israeli civilians killed on 7 October were killed by Israeli forces, who used tanks to destroy kibbutzim where there were residents held captive by Palestinian gunmen, with US supplied Hellfire missiles fired from US made Apache helicopters, resulting in burnt out cars with scorched bodies.

There is no evidence of torture, mutilation and rape. There is no evidence of any beheadings either, US President Biden has now admitted. Much initial reporting came from Israeli army personnel. It took Israel a fortnight before it presented what it claim is visual evidence of torture: the world’s fifth most powerful army will presumably have AI [artificial intelligence] image manipulation resources in abundance.

Images of cars full of burnt corpses and of destroyed houses could not have been done by the Palestinians, who were on motorcycles with kalashnikovs. The Israeli army itself admitted that Apache helicopters shot up every car headed to Gaza that it could find, all of which contained Israelis being taken there. The video below includes eye-witness Israeli civilian and helicopter pilot accounts (they were firing Hellfire missiles) which confirm this. This radio interview from a woman at the music festival tells more. More on the ‘Hannibal Directive’ can be found here.

The Grayzone has pulled much information together here. Hamas has called for an international investigation into the atrocities on 7 October, after evidence exposed Israel was guilty of murdering many of their own civilians.

The Israelis themselves admit they killed Israeli civilians. Indeed, it is clear that they are responsible for the massacre of the party-goers at the 7 October concert, not Hamas. Footage from an Israeli Apache helicopter shows it is shooting at civilians and civilian vehicles, everywhere. This explains why there were so many burnt and destroyed vehicles, despite the fact that Hamas fighters mostly only had light weapons. Despite that, the Israelis justify themselves with the same argument as from Gaza, that Hamas was hiding among the civilians. “The pilots realised that there was tremendous difficulty in distinguishing within the occupied outposts and settlements who was a terrorist and who was a soldier or civilian… The rate of fire against the thousands of terrorists was tremendous at first, and only at a certain point did the pilots begin to slow down the attacks and carefully select the targets,” the article says.

Actual footage from the Israeli helicopters destroying cars can be seen here. Middle East Monitor chronicled the evidence here.
