President Trump, in his inimitable polarising manner, told four new “progressive” Democrat congresswomen” to go back to where they came from, “countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe…”

No matter that three of the four (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna S. Pressley) were born in the US, his message was clear: all four women have dark skin. (only Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia).

His outrage was apparently boundless, how dare they tell  “the United States, the greatest and most powerful nation on earth, how our government is to be run”.

The usual uproar ensued and the usual suspects played into Trump’s hands by further publicising Trump’s words with their indignation. For example, see this or this. Trump then upped his game, and kept the controversy rolling by tweeting the ultimate “insult”: these women,“hate Israel”. Apparently, “with a true and unbridled passion”.

These “radical left congresswomen” ought to apologise “to our country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, “for bad language and and saying “terrible things”.

Apparently, Trump decided he had not yet milked this line for all it was worth and added: “We all know that AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] and this crowd are a bunch of communists, they hate Israel, they hate our own country, they’re calling the guards along our border (the Border Patrol Agents) concentration camp guards, they accuse people who support Israel as doing it for the Benjamin’s [sic].”

The Jewish state is apparently on a par with the United States in our president’s tweets, it is just as bad to insult Israel as it is to insult the United States. Forget Jeffrey Epstein, it is not permitted to defame the Jewish people. And, of course, we are back to calling Trump a racist instead of speculating about whether he is a paedophile.
