Jewish squatter colony of Beitar Illit attacks Palestinian Wadi Fuqeen with sewage despite court order

The Jewish squatter colony of Beitar Illit is still regularly releasing sewage on to several farmers’ fields in the Palestinian village of Wadi Fuqeen.

The farmers are caught in a dilemma. If they publicize what is happening, it damages the reputation of their crops and makes it harder for them to sell their produce. If they don’t publicize what is happening, the problem continues, and indeed, may get worse.

Many months ago, an Israeli court ordered the colony to stop releasing sewage on to farmland in the village but nothing has happened.

People are bewildered as to what to do next to try to stop the problem.

The photograph below was taken in early May 2014.
